The Villa
Villa Jamalu is a luxurious four-bedroom family retreat in Bali, with stunning views of Jimbaran Bay. It has three levels of outstanding accommodation, including a games room, gym, spa, and 12-metre pool. A private chef and villa manager are available to ensure a comfortable stay. Rooftop dining is a treat on the alfresco terrace, with canapés and meals prepared by the villa’s private gourmet chef. Children can enjoy the playroom, while adults can indulge in the air-conditioned games room or entertainment den. The villa also features a Bose sound system, outdoor loungers, and spacious living areas.

First of all, I have to mention the whole staff (Henny, Wulan, Wayan) led by Dika! They were so professional and kind to us from the beginning and during our entire stay that we really felt like it was our home. About the location, it is simply fantastic. The beach, the shopping center, and many good restaurants (even local ones) are just nearby. The villa is in a closed villa park called Temple Hill so we felt really safe. About the villa itself, it is just amazing. 4 comfortable bedrooms and a huge pool. Enjoyed our stay here and we’ll be back for sure!

Adelaar Liveaboard
Villa Jamalu hosted a group of our close friends in May 2023. This spacious villa with it’s four en-suite bedrooms, sits on the highest point of the Temple Hill Grand Residence gated community, with uninterrupted panoramic views of the entire Jimbaran Bay. The shaded terrace with comfy couches, was the perfect spot for our evening cocktails. A special place, made special by the amazing views towards Bali’s highest western peaks, the entire bay view and the most amazing sunsets.
Recently updated and under new ownership, the villa has beautiful and well kept gardens, an enormous pool, and plenty of gathering spaces. Staffed daily with four personnel, we were well taken care of and the villa was spotless! Breakfast was a tasty feast with choices of Western or Asian favorites. We chose to have a bit of each served family style, beautifully presented on the large table each morning with eggs cooked to order.
The chef, Wayan, is currently enrolled in culinary school, and with a one day advance notice, he is delighted to prepare an evening feast and share his culinary skills. Sadly, we had such a packed itinerary, we did not take advantage of this. Next time Wayan! Dika, the villa manager was extremely helpful and always available to help with our every need and wish. Restaurant menus appeared like magic on my phone within seconds of asking. Reservations made quickly and effortlessly, transport organized and waiting at the villa door at the exact right time.
All in all we had a such a nice experience at Jamalu, we wanted to extend for another 4 days after our boat trip, but they were fully booked! In retrospect, our only regret was not spending more time at the villa! Well done Jamalu, you will see us again!

We had the most wonderful time in Villa Jamalu in spring this year. The pool, the view, the staff…. simply amazing!!!! A very special place with a cosy atmosphere, luxuary hosting and loving people who made our stay a once in a lifetime experience! The light breeze you constantly feel on the highest point of Temple Hill made us enjoy being outside on the many beautiful lounges day and night. very close to our beautiful home we found everything we wanted like restaurants, the beach, shopping, sightseeing… We deeply fell in love with Bali and Villa Jamalu <3
